Hello, I am writing to ask you to please volunteer to help my family. We do not need any money. We do not need a car. We don't need housing or any food donations. We just need a signature. A lot of churches participate in assisting immigrant refugee families to relocate to the United States and setting them up with their new life here in the States. All of these families, each and every person, is required to have a sponsor, or a joint sponsor in order to immigrate. I married a man from India and we need a joint sponsor. I have a home, a car, and a job but I do not meet all the requirements to fully sponsor my husband to immigrate here. We have been working on our legal immigration for almost 2 years and he had a successful interview last week, but the visa center has asked us to fill out an addition form called an I-864 form for a joint sponsor and submit it along with his passport in order to get his visa stamp. I can show you all our paperwork. I have all my paystubs and income proof. I even have the deed to my house. Anyone who has some familiarity with immigration can understand that the application form is intimidating and the agreement you are signing is legally enforceable but my husband can become a citizen 24 months after he arrives in the United States and then the I-864 obligation is released. It does not cost anything to become a joint sponsor and we have an immigration attorney that would help you with the paperwork and answer any questions you might have. Please would you consider helping us by filling out the application for and agreeing to become a joint sponsor.
